Binha Haase performs as a violinist across classical, contemporary, and pop music with a variety of ensembles, bands, and orchestras. They bring expertise in performative play within interdisciplinary projects and music theatre, and have appeared as a stage musician in Lehár’s opera Lustige Witwe at the Schweriner Schlossfestspiele under the direction of Andrea Schwalbach.
In pop music, Binha has collaborated with artists such as Max Raabe, berq, Zartmann, and rappers including Luvre47, kwam.e, and Megaloh. They also perform regularly in orchestras such as the Meininger Staatskapelle and Hofer Sinfoniker, participating in classical recordings for Bayerischer Rundfunk and Deutschlandfunk Kultur, as well as film music productions including Harry Potter in Concert and Star Wars in Concert.
Binha studied music (B.A. and Master of Music and Art Performance, majoring in violin) at the Lucerne School of Music with Prof. Sebastian Hamann, and received further guidance from Prof. Hae-Sun Kang, Prof. Maria Egelhof, and Prof. Albrecht Breuninger. They were a full member of the Bundesjugendorchester – National Youth Orchestra of Germany.
